Hi! I’m Jane Harber, a Christian author, educator, speaker and licensed belief therapist.
Born in New Haven, Conn., I lived half my life in that state. I graduated from Cheshire High School in 1963 and Quinnipiac University in 1965. My career began at the New Haven Police Department, where my last assignment was counseling with victims of crime.
After living in Connecticut for thirty-four years, my family and I moved to the west Texas area. There, I enjoyed what I consider to be the most important facet of my life … that of being a homemaker and mother.
Now that my children are grown and gone, it is my desire to help others ... one day at a time, step by step. Where the rubber meets the road.
We would love to serve you. You will find descriptions of books and seminar topics on the following pages. If you would like to schedule a seminar, email us at gentlespringsofhope@gmail.com. Please include your name, topic or occasion, event date or dates, and a return email address or telephone number.
What We Do
Gentle Springs of Hope Ministries was birthed out of a series of events, beginning with a clear direction from the Lord to put into book format the studies Jane had done on overcoming grief and depression. The book, "One Foot on a Banana Peel," led to seminars taught on the subject, which opened up the door for GSH Seminars to be birthed.
The goal of Gentle Springs of Hope Ministries is to open and operate Christian assisted living centers. Further information is here on the site. GSH Seminars is helping us reach that goal.
All Jane's writings and work revolve around helping others with positive life changes. As an author, educator, motivational speaker and licensed belief therapist, Jane speaks and conducts seminars based on these principles. Jane holds her license through Therapon Institute, Marrero, La.
